A clip of Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma has been going viral online, where she can be seen halting her live performance to warn a fan. Reportedly, the incident took place during her live concert in Amity University, Jharkhand on March 13.
In the video, Sunanda can be seen singing on the stage when she was forced to stop mid-performance after a young man in the audience repeatedly made inappropriate gestures towards her. Initially, the singer ignored the behavior and continued performing, however, when the gestures did not stop, she paused the show midway, and walked to the edge of the stage, visibly upset, looked directly at the man, and warned him. She said that the show was going well and she did not want to spoil it, but made it clear that she was “letting it go for now.”
Her firm response drew loud applause from the audience, with many fans supporting her stand. After addressing the situation, Sunanda quickly swung back and resumed her performance.
