THIS actor in ‘Dhurandhar 2’ hasn’t watched the film yet; says “can’t afford the ticktes”

The 'actor' is Harjeet, an auto-rickshaw driver in the movie’s climax where Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat aka Hamza returns to his hometown in Pathankot

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge starring Ranveer Singh is breaking records at the box office as fans are flocking to theaters paying anywhere from ₹500 to ₹2,000 for a ticket to watch the action-packed drama however while the film has been praised for its story and performances it also features ordinary people in small roles.

“Can’t afford the ticket”

One such person is Harjeet who is an auto-rickshaw driver appears in the movie’s climax where Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat aka Hamza returns to his hometown in Pathankot and rides in Harjeet’s auto but despite being part of the blockbuster Harjeet hasn’t been able to see the film himself “A single ticket costs around ₹500 and with five family members it would cost ₹2,500 which is what we save in a whole month, so I couldn’t take them to the theater.”

More collects over ₹937.49 crore worldwide 

On the box office front Dhurandhar 2 has earned over ₹575.72 crore in India alone and worldwide collections have crossed ₹937.49 crore. The movie has been released in theatres and is getting a lot of attention for its strong storyline inspired by real-life events between India and Pakistan and while the film feels very real not everything shown is true. The movie takes inspiration from real events like 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, India’s 2016 demonetization and some cross-border operations and although these are real incidents but the way they are connected in the film is mostly fictional.
