The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will publish the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) II Exam 2025 result at any moment on its official portal, upsc.gov.in.
All those candidates who took the written exam on September 14, 2025, will soon get an opportunity to verify their qualifying status through the PDF merit list put out by the Commission.
The result will also be made available in a roll number-wise and name-wise PDF. Candidates whose roll numbers will be found in the list will be eligible to reach the next round of the selection process, the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview.

The NDA selection process consists of two phases:
1. Written Examination– Organized by UPSC for 900 marks in total.
2. SSB Interview– Organized by Indian Armed Forces Selection Boards to evaluate candidates' leadership, personality, and aptitude.
Shortlisted candidates who clear the written test need to register on the Indian Army website to choose their SSB dates, center, and create their call-up letters.
The written test is for a total of 900 marks.
Scores of candidates are calculated based on right and wrong answers.
Right answers are awarded marks, while negative marking is implemented on each wrong answer according to UPSC's marking criteria.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for the SSB Interview, which is conducted in two stages.
After they get through the SSB procedure, the applicants are medically examined before the final merit list is prepared.
The final shortlisting will be done based on the combined performance in the written exam and the SSB interview.
