Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who was recently seen in an advertisement of a tobacco brand along with Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan, has faced wrath on the Internet. He apologised for the same announcing his withdrawal from the association and claiming that he has not and will not endorse tobacco.
He has been badly trolled by netizens for endorsing pan masala. Now, the users are sharing Akshay Kumar's old video in which he can seen advertising cigarette.
Photos of him posing with a cigarette in hand have gone viral on social media.

A few lines of his apology are still bothering the fans. Akshay said in his statement that I will use the money received from this ad for noble causes. Due to legal reasons, there is also a contract to broadcast the ad for a set period.
Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan had also withdrawn from an advertising campaign for a pan masala brand.
