In the recent PNP draw, Alberta sets a newrecord of inviting 500 candidates. This is the third-largest draw by theAlberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) after the two largest draws in August.
The basic requirement of qualifying the drawis a cutoff score of 300. The invited candidates must have this cut off score.
Since January 2021, Alberta has invited 4,507Express Entry candidates.

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)is an economic immigration program that nominates people for permanentresidence in Alberta. Nominees must have skills to fill job shortages or beplanning to buy or start a business in Alberta. They must also be able toprovide for their families. The program is run by the governments of Albertaand Canada.
If you are nominated through the program, youmay apply for permanent residence status together with your spouse orcommon-law partner, and dependent children.

Eligibility required for Alberta ExpressEntry Stream
To get eligible under the Alberta ExpressEntry stream, the candidate needs to possess work experience in a suitableoccupation. In fact, AINP does not provide a list of eligible occupations.Instead, it provides a list of occupations that are not eligible for thestream.

Note: If you register under theExpress Entry profile, then you need to show your interest in moving toAlberta. Certain factors like having work experience or a job offer inAlberta, or having a parent, child, or sibling who is a permanent resident orcitizen in Alberta support your profile.
