The birthof Lord Ram marked by Ram Navami is being celebrated all across the today.Navami is one of the most auspicious festivals of the Hindu religion. It iscelebrated on the ninth day of Chaitra month Shukla Paksha. According to theHindu mythology it is believed that on this day Lord Ram was born to QueenKaushalya and King Dashrath. Every year the devotees worship the seventhincarnation of Lord Vishnu with lavish celebrations but this year owing to covid19 surge the festival spirit will be a little low.
Many Bollywoodcelebrities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to their social mediaaccounts to send good wishes to the Indian public on the festival. PM NarendraModi took to his Twitter handle wishing and requesting the people of India toabide by the Covid restrictions while celebrating the occasion, “today is RamNavami and Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram’s message to all of us is to followprotocol. In this crisis of Corona, please follow whatever measures areavailable to avoid corona. Remember the mantra os ‘dawai bhi, Kadai bhi’”.
