The world’s oldest monarch HerMajesty the Queen turned 95 on Wednesday. Queen’s birthday won’thave public celebrations as the occasion had come just days after the royalfamily bid a final farewell to Prince Philip.

Queen and Prince Philip gotmarried in 1947 that is the couple have been married for seven decades.Prince died on April 9 at the age of 99 at Windsor Castle. The whole Royalfamily including Prince Harry paid their final respects to his highness on Saturdayat Windsor Castle. During the funeral ceremony, the Queen was seen sitting alonein the church due to the Covid-19 precautions.

Initially, Prince Harry hadplanned to fly back to the US but later on, it was reported that the princewould be staying with her grandmother until her birthday to support her in thishard time. This year the royals are marking two weeks of mourning that is therewill be fewer public shows also there will be no gun salutes at the Tower ofLondon and at the capital’s Hyde Park which was usually done on queen’sbirthday.  

However, there will be anotherbirthday celebration for the Queen. The Queen has an official birthday which iscelebrated in June with even wider celebrations than the actual birthday.Prince Philip’s death has left a great void in Elizabeth’s close associate'slist and the most trusted confidante. Throughout her 69-year record-breaking reignPrince Philip remained the shadow of the queen. Earlier the royal was takenaback by the allegations of racism and neglect put forth by Prince Harry andMeghan Markle.
