Ludhiana, February 23-Deputy Commissioner Varinder KumarSharma today launched a Documentary based on theme “Spiritual Journey of SriGuru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji”, dedicated to 400th year of advent of Sri Guru TegBahadur Sahib, prepared by High Court Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu.
The documentary is combination of high quality colourfulpictures of the holy Gurudwaras i.e. Guru ka Mahal (Amritsar), Vayah Asthan(Kartarpur, District Jalandhar), Bhora Sahib (Baba Bakala), Thara Sahib(Amritsar), Guru Ke Mahal (Bhora Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib), Thara Sahib (SriAnandpur Sahib), Sis Ganj Sahib (Chandni Chowk, Delhi), Gurudwara Rakab GanjSahib (Delhi), Bibangarh Sahib (Ropar), Sis Ganj Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib),Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), depicting the Pious Journey ofGuru Sahib, from his Birth till Martyrdom.
Deputy Commissioner while launching the Documentaryappreciated the unique thought of Advocate Harpreet Sandhu for coming up withthis pious work and said that this initiative will definitely help to spreadpreachings of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, and message of peace and universalbrotherhood within humanity.
He further applauded the Pictorial Visuals promoting thehistorical Gurudwaras, related to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji and theirimportance within the Sikh Sangat in form of the Calendar dedicated to thecommemorating 400th Prakash Purab of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji.
On the occasion, Eminent Poet and Padma Shri Dr Surjit Patarwho is also chairman of Punjab Arts Council also lauded the efforts of AdvocateHarpreet Sandhu for pious work of promoting Historical Gurudwaras, associatedwith Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.
