The police have arrested a male nurse on the charges offilming the doctors by hiding his camera in the changing room on Friday from ahospital in Bengaluru.
The complaint was filed by the Director of Sanjay GandhiInstitute of Trauma and Orthopaedics. Marutesha is 31 years old male nurse.
A young female surgeon noticed a mobile phone at around9:30am on Friday in the changing room. According to police, the mobile phone asinformed by the female nurse was hidden in the changing room and set onrecording mode.
The surgeon had noticed that she was being filmed beforegoing to the operation theatre. After she alerted other doctors, they caughtthe camera and found out that it belonged to the male nurse working on contractin the hospital.
Later on the director filed a police complaint in TilakNagar police station.
The accused has bene booked under section 354-C and 201. Asper reports, the accused has not yet shared any of the video anywhere but ithas come to the notice of the police that he was filming doctors for past twomonths.
Marutesha has been sent to judicial custody after he wasproduced before the magistrate. Further investigations are on.
