ShammiKapoor’s real name was Shamsher Raj Kapoor. He is the second son oflegendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor.

Although hisfather was a superstar of Bollywood, Shammi Kapoor started his career as ajunior artist and worked in his father’s studio at the salary of Rs. 50.

 
3. Debutfrom a flop movie


The superstarmade his acting debut in the movie Jeewan Jyoti in the year 1953. This moviefailed to impress the audience and was a huge flop. But he kept on working inthe films while improving his acting skills and became one of the most admiredactors of his time.
