Aryan Khan's bail rejection: Kamya Punjabi calls it ‘harassment’; Know how other celebrities reacted?

On Wednesday (October 20), TV actor Kamya Panjabi rushed to Twitter to show her support with Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, who was denied bail in the narcotics case by Mumbai's Special NDPS Court.

Everyone, from fans to industry insiders, responded to the news of Aryan Khan rejecting bail and began criticising the decision.
Television's renowned face Kamya Panjabi was the most recent to offer support for SRK in this hour of need, taking to Twitter to express her sympathy with the family.

She tweeted, “What has happened to our Judiciary system? Aam janta trusts our judiciary system as they are a neutral body and hence not supposed to be biased. This is harassment and a one sided opinion. There are so many other ways to interrogate, like house arrest, etc. why keep in Jail? #AryanKhan.”

Previously, Hansal Mehta, Swara Bhasker, and Rahul Dholakia were among the celebrities that reacted to the situation.
Rahul Dholakia said, “Outrageous !!! You are saying there is a “possible” connection to his “international” racket based on “WhatsApp” chat recovered from his phone, that you confiscated on a “bust” where he “had nothing” ?And you have been fishing for days and yet not found anything?  #FreeAryanKhan”.




Hansal Mehta tweeeted, “The travesty continues. The ordeal continues.  Heartbreaking.” Meera chopra tweeeted, “heartbreaking”.
Nikita Dutta said, “Strength to every human facing injustice. “ Jwala Gutta tweeted, “A parent is a parent whether celebrity or not!!! The pain is the same and no parent should go through it!!”. Aisha Sharma tweeted, “Broken justice system”.




For the uninitiated, the three defendants in the cruise party drugs case, Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha, had their bail applications denied.


The bail requests of Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant, and fashion model Munmun Dhamecha were refused by Special Judge V V Patil, who is assigned to hear cases involving the Narcotics, Drugs, and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.


According to PTI, Aryan Khan and others implicated in the case have been charged under Sections 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29, and 35 of the NDPS Act. 

So far, the NCB has detained 20 persons in connection with the cruise party narcotics investigation, including 18 men and two women, all of whom have been detained in different prison barracks.
