The ongoing protest by MPs opposing Farm Laws outside theParliament witness a high-voltage drama when SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur and CongressMP Ravneet Singh Bittu engaged in a heated argument following latter accusedthe former of getting the farm laws enacted while she was a minister in theUnion Cabinet, and added that she 'doing drama' over the laws and showing 'fakesupport' to the farmers' cause.
The argument took place in Parliament today when SAD andsome others parties MPs were protesting against the new farm laws while Bittuwas speaking to reporters. Bittu alleged that Badal resigned from the Cabinetafter getting the laws enacted and repeatedly accused her of doing drama overthe news laws.
Replying to the allegations during the argument,Harsimrat Badal said ask from him (Bittu) where were Rahul Gandhi and SonaiGandhi when these bills were passed. “The Congress party by staging a walkouthelped in the passage of those bills. Where were you when the bills werepassed? Now you are spreading lies and maligning us?” said Harsimrat.

Meanwhile, the incident attracts a lot of criticism fromthe Shiromani Akali Dal. Speaking to the ‘Truescoop’, party spokespersons, DrDaljit Singh Cheema said the incident has exposed the real face of the Congressparty, who had walked out from the Parliament when these bills were beingpassed by the BJP government.
“In spite of giving a strong message by protestingagainst the Farm Laws by joining the protesting MPs outside the Parliament, thedistasteful and disrespectful attitude of Ravneet Bittu with a Lady MP hasshown his class,” he added.
