Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badalis in election mode and to register an impressive performance in the assemblyelection scheduled for 2022, he announced various sops if SAD-BSP alliancecould form its government in the state. Sukhbir has announced a 13-points pollagenda while addressing a press conference here on Tuesday.
The 13-points poll agenda or promises he made including-
1. Mata Khiwi Rasoi scheme to be started under which afinancial assistance of Rs 2000 per month released in accounts of all blue cardholders
2. Diesel price to be cut by Rs 10 per litre foragriculture sector
3. 400 units per month electricity free for all domesticusers.
4. Rs 10 lakh (per annum) health insurance for allfamilies (in government and private hospitals) for medical treatment, diagnostictests, medicine etc.
5. Student card scheme - Rs 10 lakh loan (withoutinterest) for College fees and IELTS coaching.
6. MSP on fruits vegetables and milk.
7. One lakh government jobs and 10 lakh jobs in privatesector to be provided to youths.
8. 500-bedded medical colleges to be set up in alldistricts. In these colleges, 33 percent of seats will be reserved for studentsof government schools.
9. 50 percent reservation for women in all governmentjobs.
10. 75 percent job reservation for youths in public andprivate sector industries.
11. Power for all medium and small-scale industries willbe provided at Rs 5 per unit.
12. All sanitation workers will be regularized
13. All government offices in the state will be madefully computerized to ensure governance.
