Model filmmaker Aisha Sultana drew sharp criticism fromTwitteratis after her ‘bio-weapon remark went viral followed by an FIR againsther based on sedition charges.

Lakshadweep Police on Thursday lodged a sedition caseagainst Aisha, who said that the Modi government has deployed Covid-19 as a ‘bioweapon’ against people of Island.

Notably, the complaint was filed by Bharatiya JanataParty’s Lakshadweep unit president Abdul Khader for spreading false news aboutthe spread of Covid-19 on the island.
