Jalandhar’s Music Guru Dharminder Kathak Passes Away; Taught Master Saleem, Sugandha Mishra

Dharminder Kathak, a well-known music guru in Jalandhar, died on Saturday. He was around 55 years old at the time. Kathak was a well-known name in classical music. He taught music to Sugandha Mishra, Navraj Hans, and popular TV reality show vocalist Jyotica Tangri, as well as legends like singer Master Saleem. He spent the past 38 years of his life in the music industry. During this time, he developed a slew of singing sensations who drew attention to Jalandhar by appearing on reality programmes.

His health has been worsening over the past few days, according to family members. On Saturday morning, he had a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital, but he was unable to be saved.
