Punjab Government has issued guidelines requesting allpeople and business owners to avoid plying on the roads during the specifiedtime every Saturday.
The one hour of silence is in memory of those people whoselives have been ended by the pandemic Corona virus.
It is clarified that the following of this guideline is voluntary.
Further, unless guidelines contrary to the same are issued,this is to be repeated every Saturday in Punjab.
It is relevant to note here that the pandemic situation isquickly spiralling out of control in Punjab with many of its districts showing resurgencein daily Covid cases and deaths due to the same.
The Chief Minister of Punjab has a tough situation on hishands to contain and manage the pandemic without affecting the economy.
