Farmers protest in Delhi turned amok after one faction ofthe farmers enter Red Fort on the day of Republic Day and hoisted two flags.
As per reports published on the website of Times ofIndia, it has been noted that more than 300 cops were injured in yesterday's protestand many farmers were also injured. Moreover, as per records, 22 FIRs werefiled after the tractor parade unrest in Delhi.
Security has been beefed up as per reports and thegovernment is expected to take action against the protesters soon. MultipleCCTV's are being examined to unearth who are behind instigating the protesters.
Commissioner of Police of Delhi has conducted a meeting withsenior officials regarding the untoward incidents during tractor parade,yesterday, according to ANI. Also, farmers unions have called a meeting todiscuss the violence that took place during the parade on Republic day.
While SS Pandher of Kisan Mazdoor Sangarsh Committeesaid, "Some miscreants joined the protest to defame farmers movement. Wedid not plan to unfurl the flags at Red Fort, this was not our program. DeepSidhu's photo with the PM has floated, we had already expressed doubt over him."
Allegations are being leveled against Kisan MazdoorSangarsh Committee and Deep Sidhu for their alleged role in the wild marchyesterday.
