Amidst the distressing time, mournful news has come forPrime Minister Narendra Modi and his family as his aunt Narmadaben Modi tookher last breath on Tuesday while undergoing COVID-19 treatment at the CivilHospital in Ahmedabad.
The news was shared by PM Modi’s younger brother PrahladModi to the eminent media houses. He told that Narmadaben Modi (80), lived in the New Ranip area of thecity with her children.
“Our aunt Narmadaben was admitted to the civil hospitalsome ten days ago after her condition deteriorated following coronavirusinfection,” Prahlad Modi said.
“She took her last breath at the hospital today,” headded.
He further added that her husband Jagjivandas, brother ifPM’s father Damodardas, had died many years ago.
