YouTube bans Donald Trump indefinitely, Twitter, Facebook continue ban

While Twitter permanently banned Donald Trump's @realDonaldTrump account on January 8, after two days of US Capitol unrest.

YouTube, Facebook and Twitter had suspended accounts ofDonald Trump after his alleged role in the US Capitol insurrection and socalled 'stolen election' related misinformation.

YouTube has now suspended Trump's account indefinitely like Twitter. As perreports published on The Verge, Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani has also beenrestricted from using these platforms. Giuliani has been restricted like Trumpbecause, he himself parroted false claims regarding elections on socialnetworking platforms.

While Twitter permanently banned Donald Trump's@realDonaldTrump account on January 8, after two days of US Capitol unrest.

Although, some users have criticized these platforms forsuspending Trump's accounts and they hopped on to the rival Parler app.
