Amidst heightened tensions after the US Capitol insurrection and some terming it a 'coup attempt', the social media platform, YouTube has removed new content uploaded on Donald Trump's YouTube channel.

YouTube has suspended the channel for seven days from uploading new content. However, it has been anticipated that the account may be suspended for more days.

Similarly, while Twitter has removed 70,000 QAnon believers' accounts. Twitter in an official statement pointed out that content generated by conspiracy theory believers "has the potential to lead to offline harm."

Meanwhile, Twitter had banned Donald Trump permanently from using its services on the context of inflaming Capitol unrest. Twitter said it will limit the number of posts violating its civic integrity policy that may lead to permanent suspension of more accounts.

On the other hand, may pro-Trump supporters are seeing it as an assault on Free Speech.
