Bollywood actor Danish Pandor has been making waves among fans on social media ever since Dhurandhar has released in theaters. Danish Pandor has played the character of Uzair Baloch, brother of Rehman Dakait. The character of Rehman Dakait is played by Akshaye Khanna.
Pandor recently revealed how he bagged the role of Uzair Baloch and narrated how did he prepare to portray the character in Dhurandhar.
Pandor in an interview with Bollywood Bubble revealed that he was not aware about the character or movie for which he was giving auditions after he was called by the team of casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
Danish Pandor said, "I even remember the date when I gave the audition- April 16, 2024. A day before in the night, I got a call from the office of Mukesh Chhabra. He said that I am sending the sides, but I cannot tell you about the movie but I am assuring you the project is very big. The next day I went for audition. The character that has been shown in the movie was also not mentioned."
"The situation was also not from the movie. They only wanted to see my performance. I did not hear back for a month. After 1 month I got a call from Mukesh Chhabra and he asked me to send my pictures. I guess he might be sitting with Aditya Dhar. Then at that night I got a call that I have been locked for the project. I did not know anything about the starcast or the movie. I called the next day asking about the movie and then I got to know."
Dhurandhar actor then revealed, "I got a validation when they (friends) said that when they saw me on screen it was not like they were seen Danish. We always thought we are watching Uzair Baloch. When I met Aditya Dhar for the first time, he gave some materials about Uzair Baloch. Then, I started watching Uzair Baloch's interview."
"Now, one of Uzair Baloch's interview is also going viral. But, I watched it during my preparation. I worked on dialect. I took martial arts class, arms and ammunition's classes. I attended work shops of Aditya Sir. Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Ranveer Singh, etc, also used to attend it."
