Aditya Dhar's directorial Dhurandhar is on course to become the biggest movie of Bollywood in terms of earning. Apart from box office collection, Dhurandhar has managed to spark a debate on social media. While most of the people are lavishing praise on the makers for exposing Pakistan sponsored terrorism, a few users including Dhruv Rathee have called it a propaganda movie.
Nevertheless, Dhurandhar has left fans with many unanswered and have revealed multiple facts that Indians were not aware of.
Dhurandhar is inspired by true story that revolves around gangs of Lyrai (a town in Karachi) and it showcase how gangsters, terrorists, and ISI work hand-in-hand to target India.
One of the most powerful scenes in the movie that has left fans shell shocked is when handlers of 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks were coordinating terrorists in Taj Hotel. `In fact, the makers have run a red screen showcasing actual audio of handlers in Pakistan directing terrorists to kill innocents during 26/11 attacks.
When Ranveer Singh who plays Hamza aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi was getting married, many guests attended the event. The guests included- ISI's Major Iqbal, Rehman Dakait, Javed Khanani, and other Lashkar terrorists.
For the unversed, ISI's Major Iqbal played by Arjun Rampal was shown coordinating 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. Rehman Dakait played by Akshaye Khanna procured arms and ammunitions from a Baloch outfit and gave it to Ajmal Kasab and other terrorists. Javed Khanani played by Pradeep, who ran fake currency racket in Pakistan, funded the terror strikes in Mumbai.
Dhurandhar movie has showcased that it was in Khanani's warehouse of fake notes, multiple meetings of terrorists took place. Not only this, but when handlers from Pakistan were giving instruction to terrorists, all of them were sitting inside Khanani's office.
Now, coming back to Hamza's wedding, ISI's Major Iqbal asks Rehman Dakait for more weapons and explosives as they are again planning 26/11 like attack in India. But, this time the attack will be bigger and Punjab's Amritsar will be the target.
Hence, the answer to above asked question is Amritsar. Dhurandhar movie claims that after Mumbai, Pakistani terrorists were planning to attack on Amritsar.
However, Hamza plotted to kill Rehman Dakait. In reality, Rehman Dakait was killed in an encounter by SP Chaudhry Aslam.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mumbai Terror Attack took place on 26 November 2008. Rehman Dakait was shot dead in an encounter on August 9, 2009.
Dhurandhar has showcased that it was on this date, Rehman's brother was sent to bring weapons from the Baloch outfit that was suppose to be used by terrorists to attack Amritsar. However, Rehman Dakait was killed on that date possibly foiling the plan to carry out terror attack in Amritsar.
