The answer is no. Mrs. Deshpande is an Indian adaptation of French psychological crime-thriller La Mante. La Mante is a French psychological crime-thriller that was released on Netflix in 2017. It revolves around police hunt for a psychopath whose murders are inspired by Jeanne Deber, known as "The Mantis".
