Saare Jahan Se Accha Web Series showcase that Pakistan was planning to avenge its worldwide humiliation after liberation of Bangladesh. To avenge its humiliation, then PM Zulfikar Ali Bhutto planned to make a nuclear bomb. It started a secret war between ISI and RAW. While RAW was trying to derail Pakistan's nefarious attempt, ISI was trying to locate RAW agents and assassinate them.

Bollywood actor Rajat Kapoor plays the character of RN Kao. RN Kao has shown as the chief of India's secret service RAW. While the entire web series is not based on real story, but RN Kao's character is similar to India's first RAW Chief with the same name i.e. RN Kao.

RN Kao aka Rameshwar Nath Kao hailed from Varanasi and said to India's Spymaster. Kao was the first chief of India's external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) from its founding in 1968 to 1977. Kao was among the officers who helped build RAW.

During his professional career, he held the position of Secretary (Research) in the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India, which has been held by all R&AW directors since.

He had also, during the course of his long career, served as the personal security chief to Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and as security adviser to Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. He also founded the Aviation Research Centre (ARC) and the Joint Intelligence Committee.

He hailed from Varanasi but was born in Kashmiri Pandit family in Srinagar. He died at the age of 84 in 2002.
