₹1000/₹1500 scheme update: When will you actually get the money?

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann launched the much-talked-about women support scheme on the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar at a state-level event in Adampur and the big question everyone’s asking is simple: When will you actually get the money?

What’s the scheme?

Under this scheme eligible women in Punjab will receive ₹1000 to ₹1500 per month directly in their bank accounts and as per the latest update the registration timeline is as follow:

Phase 1 (Started April 15 – Pilot areas):

Adampur, Malout, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Dirba, Sunam, Moga, Kotkapura, Batala & Patiala Rural

Phase 2 (From May 15):

Registration will open in the remaining 108 constituencies across Punjab

So, when will you get ₹1000?

It is noteworthy that even if you register early payments are expected to begin from July once the full registration process is completed. So basically the registration will take place in the months of April & May which will be followed by processing & verification in June and the first payment is expected to come by July.

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Voter ID Card

  • Bank Passbook

  • Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
