A gunpoint robbery has been reported from KP Property Advisor shop located on Nandanpur Road in Maqsudan, Jalandhar. A CCTV footage of the incident has been surfacing showing two bike-borne robbers approaching the shop, waiting outside and observing the surroundings for a while.
Later, one of the robbers enters the shop, while the other remains on the bike keeping an eye around. Following this, the robber inside loots the shop on gunpoint and exits shortly. His accomplice was ready and waiting for him, and within moments both of them fled from the scene. This entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.
The shopkeeper Tajinder Singh talking about the incident shares that the already suspected that the men had ill intentions. He recalls that moments after entering the shop the robber pulled out a gun and demanded a bribe of 600 Euros. Tajinder Singh said that he agreed to the robber, but as soon he got a chance, he grabbed the robber’s gun after which a scuffle broke out between the two. Ultimately, the robber left his gun behind and fled the scene with some cash.
Immediately after the incident the shopkeeper reported it to the police and a team reached the spot. The police have gathered the CCTV footage and other necessary information from the crime scene and a probe in under way.
