At around 4:50 am this morning, the bike riders fired at the gym owner in Phase-2 of the district. The injured gym owner has been identified as Vicky. Bike-riding miscreants fired 5 rounds at Vicky.
Vicky was shot 4 times. It is being reported that all four bullets are lodged on the legs. Seeing the injured gym owner in the incident, the gym trainer took him on a bike to the Indus Hospital for treatment. The doctors referred him to a hospital in Chandigarh as his condition was serious.
On the other hand, after getting information about the incident, the victim’s family reached the spot and alleged the attack in personal animosity. A CCTV footage has also come to light, in which the sound of firing and the attackers on the bike are seen running away.
According to information, the attackers have also fired at a hotel in Kajheri in Chandigarh. Vicky was lying in his Baleno car outside the gym when the thugs who came on the bike opened fire on him. The gym owner has bullets in his legs.
The market phase II, watchman who was present at the spot, immediately informed the police. The police are investigating the matter. At the moment, it is not known who fired the shots.
Eyewitness Sandeep Singh said that the incident took place between 4.50 and 5 am. We were doing our work when the noises came. It seemed that the firecrackers had gone off, then a boy came out.
Sandeep said there was a shot. When they arrived, they saw that the injured person was lying there. He was bleeding from his legs. The boys who came to the gym were taken to the hospital.
SI Jaswant Singh, who reached the spot, said that the guy who is injured is in the hospital. CCTV cameras are being checked. Now we are finding out how many people were and where they came from. The Baleno car has been seized.
According to information, Vicky has been running a gym in Phase IIof Mohali for 7 years. The family consists of parents, wife and 2 sons. One son is 4 years old and the other is one year old.
