Jalandhar residents are advised to prepare for multiple planned power shutdowns on Saturday, November 15, 2025, as the electricity department has scheduled maintenance on four major 11 KV feeders.
Power supply will be affected in several key residential and commercial areas during the maintenance hours.
From 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, electricity will remain suspended under the Central Mill Feeder, impacting Bashirpura, Thakur Singh Colony, Santoshi Nagar, and Kaji Mandi.
During the same time slot, the Mandi Road Feeder shutdown will affect Santoshi Nagar, Qazi Mandi, Mandi Road, Rishi Nagar, Partap Road, Bhagat Singh Chowk, BKB, Railway Road, and Inderprasth Mohalla.
Simultaneously, the Dakoha Feeder will also undergo maintenance from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, leading to power cuts in Kamal Vihar, Shourya Green, Niti Shri Flats, Bashirpura, and Thakur Singh Colony.
Additionally, a separate shutdown has been planned for the Urban Estate Feeder from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, affecting Bashirpura and Kamal Vihar.
The electricity department has expressed regret for the inconvenience and urged consumers to plan their day accordingly, keeping the scheduled outages in mind.
