A shocking incident came to light in the Punjabi Bagh area of Jalandhar after a fetus was found lying in a garbage heap and according to information the fetus was first noticed by a woman who was collecting garbage in the area and she immediately informed a nearby resident after which the matter was reported to the police.
Local resident Rakesh Kumar said that the condition of the fetus was very poor with worms seen on it and claimed that the fetus appeared to be around five days old. Police officials said they have been informed about the incident and a team from the health department has also been notified to take further action however as per locals even after more than two hours of the discovery no official team had reached the spot which led to anger and concern among residents many of whom gathered at the site.
