With the March 31, 2026 deadline approaching, official records show that a large number of civic works across the city that are scheduled to be completed by the end of this month and where they currently stand. These projects span multiple areas and primarily include the maintenance of streets, drains, and parks; repair, renovation and modernization of parks; construction of community and public toilets, including aspirational sanitation facilities and urinals; development of green spaces and construction, improvement of streets.
Additional works involve the installation of benches, resurfacing and recarpeting of roads, restoration of trenches, patchwork and repair of internal streets and the development of street vending zones. Efforts are also underway for road patching, installation of road furniture along major roads, restoration and repair of old panchayat buildings, installation of RCC bollards and pothole repairs as well.
