The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several parts of Jalandhar today, ie. Thursday, October 23, 2025. The temporary outage is being carried out to facilitate essential maintenance and system upgradation work on local feeders.
According to PSPCL, two feeders 11KV Mandi Road Feeder and 11KV Central Mill Feeder will remain non-operational for around two and a half hours in the morning.

Duration: 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Affected Localities: Dhan Mohalla, Qilla Mohalla, Kaji Mohalla, Khingra Gate, Panj Peer Bazar, Attari Bazar, Shivrajgarh, Bashirpura, Adda Hoshiarpur
The power outage will impact both residential and commercial zones in these areas. PSPCL has assured that power supply will be restored immediately after the maintenance work concludes. The PSPCL has expressed regret for the inconvenience and sought citizens’ cooperation during the maintenance hours.
