Know which day this week will be the hottest as Jalandhar temperature may cross 45°C

Severe heatwave conditions expected across Jalandhar this week with temperatures staying above 43°C under clear sunny skies.

Punjab is expected to remain under the spell of severe heat this week. Although the weather reports predict that this May month would comparatively observe more pre monsoon rainfall, thereby bringing significant relief from the scorching heat. But Punjab has received very little rainfall in comparison to the other nearby states. And the weather prediction indicates no significant relief in the form of any rainfall. 

Weather outlook

As per the Apple weather forecast, the sunny conditions will continue in the daytime and wind gusts will also be there in Jalandhar. 

Today on the first day of the week, maximum temperatures are expected to reach 43 degree celsius. 

Similarly on the other days of the week as well, the weather is expected to maintain temperatures between 25 degrees to the maximum till 44 degree on an average. As per the weather prediction, Tuesday and Wednesday shall maintain the highest temperatures up to 44 degree celsius. 

When will it rain in Punjab?

Punjab and specifically the areas of Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana are not likely to observe any considerable rainfall in the upcoming days. Following the weather trends, Punjab is expected to observe a complete spell of rain by July month, meanwhile there may be thunderstorms or scattered rain due to western disturbance. 

Residents are advised to stay indoors and not to expose themselves to the scorching heat. Also it is recommended to stay hydrated and maintain the sugar and salt levels on the body. 

Another most notable thing, since in these hot days usually there are reported incidents of fire incidents caused by dry winds. Residents are requested to not to lit fire at any garbage heap or on any dry leaves. Similarly farmers are also advised to be extra cautious to avoid any unwanted situation. 

Residents are advised not to keep the Air conditioners on consistently for hours, also keep a check where the condenser unit so establish that there is no such inflammable item or goods that can easily catch fire. 

Although there is no significant indication from the weather outlook about the rain or decrease in temperatures.
