Jalandhar will face electricity disruption tomorrow, April 24, 2026, as the power department has scheduled maintenance and tree-cutting work across multiple feeders.
As per official information, the 11 KV JP Nagar feeder will remain shut from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The areas affected include JP Nagar, Harbans Nagar, New Harbans Nagar, Virdi Colony, Ravidas Nagar, Basti Guzan, and Lamba Bazar.
Similarly, maintenance work on the 11 KV Sudhama Vihar feeder, originating from the 66 KV Sub Station Chara Mandi, will also lead to power disruption from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Sudhama Vihar, Residency Vihar, Rocky Colony, Bhai Bano Ji Nagar, and nearby areas.
In another shutdown, the 11 KV Dakoha feeder will remain closed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The areas affected include Kamal Vihar, Thakur Singh Colony, Shourya Green, and Niti Shri Flats.
Additionally, the 11 KV Basti Sheikh feeder (66 KV Kot Sadiq) will also remain shut from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM due to maintenance and tree cutting. Areas affected under this feeder include Lasuri Mohalla, Guru Nanak Nagar, Chopra Colony, Kashmir Colony, Ambedkar Nagar, and nearby localities.
The power department has expressed regret for the inconvenience and advised residents to plan their daily activities accordingly to avoid disruption during the scheduled outages.
