Nitin Kohli, Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge, today held an important meeting with Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Rishi and Mayor Vaneet Dhir.
The meeting focused on the public issues concerning 23 wards of the Central constituency and laid down a concrete strategy for upcoming development works.
Key issues discussed in the meeting included sanitation, sewerage, road construction, drainage, and other basic civic amenities. Placing the grievances of the public, Nitin Kohli requested that these problems be resolved in a time-bound manner.
The Municipal Commissioner and Mayor, adopting a positive approach, assured that the public concerns of the Central constituency would be addressed on a priority basis.
The meeting also reviewed the decisions taken in the previous session and the progress of works completed so far. Officials informed that several works have already been completed while the remaining ones will be finished soon.
Sharing his vision, Nitin Kohli said that Jalandhar Central should emerge as a model constituency in the city’s development. He emphasized that equal development should take place in every ward and there should be no shortage of basic facilities. His goal is to provide the citizens with a clean, safe, and well-equipped modern environment.
