Ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is holding a massive ‘Badlav Rally’ in Moga today (Saturday) where the Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address the rally at around 1 pm.
Party leaders and event organizers have that said preparations have been made to accommodate a large gathering and BJP has set a target of mobilising around one lakh people for the event.
Before arriving for the rally, Shah posted a message on his social media (X) stating that “every person of Punjab wants change.” In the post, he criticised the state government led by the Aam Aadmi Party, alleging that Punjab has been pushed into corruption, drugs and crime. He also claimed that law and order and development are missing under what he described as a “remote-controlled” government. Shah also adds that he is looking forward to interact with the people of Punjab during the rally in Moga.
