Punjab's temperature slumps upto 5°C after hours of heavy rainfall on July 22; Check

Temperatures in multiple districts of Punjab including Jalandhar witnessed a sharp fall, sending winter vibes among residents.

After a few days of no rainfall, multiple districts of Punjab on Tuesday were hit hours of torrential rainfall. Jalandhar City was hit by strong rainfall after 5 am. Following this, multiple areas of the city submerged under water due to waterlogging. Not only this, temperatures in multiple districts of the state witness a sharp fall, sending winter vibes among residents.

Punjab Monsoon active again

Baljinder Singh Maan, Punjab's self-proclaimed weatherman in his video address said, "Monsoon is becoming active once again. Even today rain has been seen in some areas of Punjab. A light western system is also coming. Western disturbance has become quite active. The moist wind blowing from the Bay of Bengal is reaching Punjab. Monsoon will remain active in many areas of Punjab for the next 2-3 days. There is an effect of Western disturbance."
