The political tension within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to be growing as fresh developments have come out regarding party MP Raghav Chadha.
According to reports the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has withdrawn the security cover that was earlier provided to Raghav Chadha and was given security by Punjab Police due to his role as party co-in-charge in Punjab, a Member of Parliament and Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha.
At the same time AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed on social media platform X that the Central Government has given ‘Z-Plus’ category security to Raghav Chadha and also questioned why the Centre would take such a step.
Reports suggest that he may be given central security in the near future but as of now nothing has been officially confirmed and till then he could be provided temporary security by Delhi Police.
This development comes shortly after AAP removed Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha and gave the responsibility to Ashok Mittal and since then there have been reports of a growing disagreement between the party and Chadha and at the same time it is also important to note that all these developments are based on reports and sources. There has been no official confirmation yet from the party or the government yet.
