In a major development, Commissionerate Police Ludhiana were involved in a fierce encounter with members of the infamous Rohit Godara gang in the Haibowal area of the city. Two gang members were shot and injured during the crossfire.
Initial reports suggest that multiple rounds fired from both sides. Two illegal weapons and several rounds have been recovered.
According to reports, Rohit Godara is said to be former aide of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad.
