OPD timings revised for Government Health facilities in Mohali

The winter OPD timings of the Government Health facilities in the district will change from October 16 onwards.

Giving out the details, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain said the new timings of the OPDs in the government health care institutes will now be from 9 am to 3 pm.

 These facilities include District Hospital Mohali, Sub-Divisional Hospitals Kharar and Derabassi, all Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers, Ayushman Arogya Kendra/Aam Aadmi Clinics, Subsidiary Health Centers, ESI hospitals, dispensaries in the district.

She said that as per the government instructions, the Registration Counters in the hospitals will open half an hour before the scheduled time of the hospitals so that there are no queues of patients and they can get hassle-free examination and treatment services while Emergency services in the hospitals will continue 24 hours as before.

The Civil Surgeon clarified that the Civil Surgeon Office in Mohali and allied Hospital offices across the district will function from 9 am to 5 pm as there is no change in their working hours.

It may be mentioned that summer OPD working hours in the government health facilities (April 16 to October 15) are from 8 am to 2 pm while winter timings (October 16 to April 15) are from 9 am to 3 pm.
