A couple from New Zealand, while digging in their backyard garden found something strange. At first, they thought it was a fungal growth but when they pried it out they realized it was a potato. They described it as an ugly mutant looking potato that weighed 7.9 kilograms. The potato has become a celebrity and the couple plans to apply for a Guinness World Record.
