Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh has created a sensation in the entertainment industry. The movie has received a lot of appreciation for the story, VFX, songs, storyline, acting and suspense in the movie. And eventually because of all of these factors the movie has earned over 800 crore at the box office. Although the movie has already crossed the figure of 500 crore at the box office in India, the real records came after the first weekend. Before the release of the movie, the CBFC had directed some edits in the dialogues and scenes of the movie, which were also there in the movie.
Also you will be surprised to know that the shooting of the three songs of the movie had been done on a grand scale with the presence of Hamza and Ranveer Singh in a powerful role? Although this scene was removed from the movie, it was shot in one day.
Recently, singer Mujtaba Aziz Naza revealed details about the three specific songs that were supposedly decided to be the part of the film. The singer said that last year, he recorded the song ‘Dongri Ke Sultan.’ The song was shot extensively in a set in South Mumbai, but it's now missing from the final cut of the action drama. The singer also revealed that everything was finalized, even Ranveer Singh’s final look for the song.
The singer said, "We shot three songs, “Dongri Ke Sultan," a cover of "Jumma Chumma De De," and "Apni To Jaise Taise." The set-up was spectacular. He also revealed Aditya Dhar had decided that in the song Ranveer Singh and Rakesh Bedi were shown in a car, while a band performed on a truck. The song was shot in one day. It was a grand affair, with Hamza returning after winning the election, along with a large audience. There were at least 10 cars. We shot it in South Mumbai one day last Ramadan 2025." He further explains.
Regarding this entire matter, Mujtaba Aziz Naza said, “I don't know why we had to remove those songs. They edited out the entire portion." However, he also stated that he still holds the rights to the song and is now planning to release it independently. He says, “My song was included in the film, but it wasn't released. So I decided to make an official video for it. Because the film had the audio, not the video. We're also working on the video, and we're making a very exclusive video. The video for 'Dongri Ke Sultan' will be launched very soon.” said Mujtava Aziz Naza.
