Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar gets Diljit Dosanjh's twist in new music video

The makers of Dhurandhar on Wednesday released a new video song titled 'Ez-Ez' and guess what it has a Diljit Dosanjh twist.

Arguably the most-awaited movie of the year, Dhurandhar is all set to release in theaters on December 5, 2025. Directed and Produced by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a true story based on Operation Lyari that took place in Pakistan against gangsters of the Islamic nation.

The makers of Dhurandhar on Wednesday released a new video song titled 'Ez-Ez' and guess what it has a Diljit Dosanjh twist.

Dhurandhar's latest track Ez-Ez is sung by none other than Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. Apart from Diljit, famous rapper Hanumankind has done rapping in the song in English.

Team Diljit took to his Instagram handle and shared the video with the caption, "Gandasi Hath Farhi hoyi aa". This is the hook of the song that means, "holding a gandasi in hand".

In the music video, Ranveer Singh who reportedly plays an Indian Intelligence Agent can be seen in Pakistan. The music video also showcase other key characters like Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait, and Sanjay Dutt as Chaudhry Aslam Khan.

The music of the song is given by Shashwat Sachdev, Raj Ranjodh.

Who was real life Pakistani SP Choudhary Aslam?

The character and appearance of Sanjay Dutt in Dhurandhar resembles to Pakistani Police officer Chaudhry Aslam Khan. In the trailer, Sanjay Dutt as Chaudhry Aslam is introduced as the merciless 'Jin'.

Chaudhary Aslam Khan reportedly rose to prominence for arresting and killing gangwar-criminals, target killers and extortionists belonging to the Muhajir Qoumi Movement, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), TMP.

In 2014, he was killed in a bomb blast on Karachi’s Lyari Expressway reportedly carried out by the TTP.

For those who are unaware, Chaudhry Aslam Khan led the police team that killed the Lyari gang leader in an encounter in August 2009. However, the killing was challenged as a “fake encounter” by Rehman Dakait’s family in court proceedings.
