Sunanda also spoke about the criticism Jasmine has faced over the years and said Jasmine was unfairly targeted and faced character attacks from some people but despite this, Sunanda believes Jasmine continued to focus on her music and did not give up. she said Jasmine has turned her personal struggles, including anger, heartbreak, and pain, into meaningful music that connects with listeners.

She said just like other artists, even I have been pulled down by many people but I surrendered myself in front of god. Explaining the difficult situation, she said after I lost my father, god was my only caretaker,” I sat in a gurudwara and told him, You’ve sent me in this world, I don’t have my father anymore, you have to take care of me” and that’s when she grew from her depression.
