

In a proud moment for T-Series, Shree Hanuman Chalisa has become the most watched India Video on YouTube with 5 billion views. Shree Hanuman Chalisa Video was released on May 10, 2011, and features the late Gulshan Kumar of T-Series. Featuring vocals by Hariharan and music by Lalit Sen, it has surpassed many Bollywood as well as other regional hit songs.
Bhushan Kumar, Managing Director of T-Series, was quoted saying: "Hanuman Chalisa holds a special place in the hearts of millions, including mine. My father, Shri Gulshan Kumar ji, devoted his life to taking spiritual music to every household, and this milestone is a reflection of his vision. Crossing 5 billion views and also being YouTube’s top 10 most viewed videos of all time is not just a digital achievement."
Interestingly, a famous Punjabi song is number 2 on the list of most watched Indian video on YouTube. With 1.8 billion views, Punjabi song Lehanga is number 2 on the list. Sung by Jass Manak, the video song was released on YouTube 6 years back and till now, it has recorded 1.8 billion views.
Other songs in the list are- Haryanavi song 52 Gaj Ka Daman at number 3 with 1.7 billion views, Tamil song Rowdy Baby is at number 4 with 1.7 billion views, Bollywood song Zaroori Tha sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is number 5 with 1.7 billion views.
Vaaste sung by Dhvani Bhanushali is number 6 on the list with 1.6 billion views, and Punjabi song Laung Laachi is number 7 on the list with 1.5 billion views.
