The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the launch of a special pilgrimage tour, the “04 Jyotirlinga & Statue of Unity Yatra”, under its Bharat Gaurav Train initiative. The nine-day journey will commence from Amritsar on October 25, 2025, and conclude on November 2, 2025.

The train will take passengers to four sacred Jyotirlinga shrines — Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain, Omkareshwar in Indore, Nageshwar and Dwarkadhish in Dwarka, and Somnath in Veraval. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Statue of Unity at Kevadiya, the tallest statue in the world and a national landmark dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

To facilitate wider access, the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train will offer multiple boarding points, including Amritsar, Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Delhi Cantt, and Rewari.

IRCTC has announced three categories of travel with all-inclusive packages:

Sleeper (Economy): Rs 19,555 | 640 seats

3AC (Standard): Rs 27,815 | 70 seats

2AC (Comfort): Rs 39,410 | 52 seats

The package covers confirmed train tickets, onboard meals, accommodation on double/triple sharing basis, bus transfers, sightseeing, as well as escort, housekeeping, security, and paramedical support.

According to IRCTC, the yatra has been designed to provide a safe, affordable, and spiritually enriching journey, while also giving travellers an opportunity to visit destinations of national and cultural significance.
