As per RBI's official calendar , there will be bank holidays only one state of India, i.e. Himachal Pradesh including in Shimla.
Notably, banks are also closed in Himachal Pradesh on October 7 on the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti, and, Kumar Purnima.
Four Sundays of 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th October 2025 will be closed for banks.
The second Saturday (11th October) and the fourth Saturday (25th October) will also be non-working days across the whole country.
Besides all these, banks will remain shut for 15 days in various regions on grand festivals and state-centric celebrations like Mahashtami, Gandhi Jayanti, Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja, Karva Chauth, Deepawali, Chhath Puja, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.
