Indian hockey player sets a new record for playing 413 matches of hockey and is ready to play more. The family atmosphere was filled with happiness and excitement and were very proud of his achievement. Manpreet Singh’s wife and mother congratulated him and the team and praised their fitness and this achievement. Manpreet Singh’s wife alias Illi spoke specifically about his beloved husband’s fitness and diet.
It is said that the Mithapur village of Jalandhar is considered the stronghold of Hockey where Manpreet Singh resides. Illi and Singh’s mother expressed happiness over his achievement and said that he has illuminated the name of the country as well as his family. It was also stated that this was only possible because of Manpreet’s diet and fitness. Manpreet’s wife also ensured that he is going to make another record by playing 500 matches. She also gave credit to Indian hockey team for the achievement. She also mentioned that it was all Manpreet’s hard work that paid off.
At the same time, his mother also mentioned that the IND-PAK match is to be held on 26th June which is also Manpreet’s birthday and make it memorable by defeating the opponents. Manpreet added that the Indian hockey team will maintain its momentum in the upcoming Champions trophy, Commonwealth games and will hopefully qualify for the 2028 Olympics. He assured that this time the team will bag a gold medal and return in the Olympics unlike last times when they won 2 bronze medals.
