
At a time when the debate around Operation Sindoor kickstarted in the Parliament for the first time after cease, the Indian Army reportedly avenged the deaths of 26 tourists who were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam.
Chinar Corps of Indian Army took to its X handle and posted, "OP MAHADEV..Contact established in General Area Lidwas. Operation in progress."
It again posted, "OP MAHADEV - Update...Three terrorist have been neutralised in an intense firefight. Operation Continues."
As per NDTV, Suleiman Shah was a terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist. He was identified as the mastermind of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
The Pahalgam Terror Attack sparked strong action from India in the form of Operation Sindoor during which India carried out Air Strikes in Pakistan and PoK targeting terror launch pads including Jaish-e-Mohammed's headquarter in Bahawalpur.
NDTV report quoted a source stating that Suleman Shah was gunned down in an encounter near Srinagar this morning.
For the unversed, Suleman served in the Pakistan Army and was also known as Hashim Moosa.
In the aftermath of the terror attack at Pahalgam's Baisaran Valley, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had announced a Rs 20 lakh reward on anyone providing information about Suleman.
Two other terrorists- Abu Hamza and Yasir were also neutralised in the operation. Security forces from the Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police were part of the joint operation.
