A shocking incident has come to light from Shiekhpura, Bihar. On Monday evening, 6 minor boys gang-raped 2 minor girls in a village under Barbigha police station area. The girls are studying in classes 6 and 7 respectively at a government school. While 3 of the accused study in class 6, the other two study in class 7 and class 8 respectively.
An FIR has been lodged on the basis of the statement made by the grandmother of a survivor.
According to Police reports, all the 6 friends sat at one place around 5-6 pm and watched porn on mobile. After that, he wanted to do the same thing. Not far from there, two girls were plucking greens in the village field. After this, they picked up those girls and raped both the girls. Later, they gave Rs 3 to Rs 5 to the girls and told them not to tell anyone about this.
All the children involved in the incident are between 10 and 12 years old, while both the girls are 8 years old. The survivor’s family caught 2 of the accused and handed them over to the local police. Both the arrested children are being produced in court. The minor boys have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including 376 D (gang rape), 506 (2) (criminal intimidation), 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy) and 114 (abettor present when offence committed) and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) and SC/ST Act.
