A shocking case has come to the fore in Amritsar, where a man named Arjun was in a relationship with another man named Ravi. Ravi turned a girl (Riya) from a boy to get married to his love. But, the two parted ways after marriage.
Three years ago, when Ravi was a boy, he used to work with Arjun in Jagran’s. Slowly they both became good friends and later on, they came into a relationship. Ravi wanted to get married to Arjun but he told Ravi to change his gender first, after that he will get married to him. Ravi agreed to do so and both got married after getting approval from their families.
Ravi not only changed his gender and became Riya, but also, agreed to add Jatti as his surname after Arjun told him to do so. Arjun was a resident of Jandiala.
Jasbir Singh, the police officer of the same Thana Cantonment, said that a complaint has been registered against Ravi for changing his gender. They are investigating the entire matter.
